For every horse lover out there, from age 1 to 101, what could be more entertaining than an evening of music, fun, a wide variety of great horsemanship, and magical equine performances? All of that and more is what Horse Affairs - Night of the Horse brings to the Treasure Valley.

offered for stud this year. Take the time to introduce yourself to the owners
and visit with them about their stallions. Who knows—You
might find a lifetime friend for both you and your mare!

Is your family tired of hanging around the house? Have you seen all the latest movies? Bored with TV reruns? Looking for something completely different to do? Then check out the 2008 Horse Affairs February 15th - 17th at Expo Idaho. It's not just for horse owners, but for the horse enthusiast in everyone. It's also a fantastic event with loads of fun and activities for the whole family, from toddlers to grandparents. And, youth under 12 years old are free. Horse Affairs is an action-packed three-day event full of magnificent horses combined with entertaining and educational activities. Les Schwab Tire Center is a big contributor to the Yahoo Kids Corral.
For the youngsters, there's the Yahoo Kids Corral, a fun-filled adventure with lots of activities, a scavenger hunt, horse-related goodies and of course plenty of friendly horses to visit with and pet. The Yahoo Kids Korral, located in the North Expo building, will be headquarters for a variety of youth-related activities. Members of the Eh-Capa 4-H Club and the Energizer 4-H Club have lots of fun surprises planned including face painting, games, horsie pictures to color and collectable stickers. Whether your child's a toddler or a "tween" there's sure to be something just for them at the Yahoo Kids Korral, including an opportunity to ride a real pony.
For youngsters 12 and under, upon arrival, be sure to pick-up a copy of the special Horse Affairs Scavenger Hunt. Fill out the form while touring the expo halls and Stallion Station, then return it for a special prize. Youth can also visit with various rodeo royalties and meet Ed White, a real professional rodeo clown and barrel man. On Saturday and Sunday, White will be autographing photos and teaching youngsters the art of roping. They will also have a hands-on opportunity to experience what it's like to be inside a bull barrel.
For the youngsters and the young at heart, come and ride the Bull. Have Bull Will Travel Productions will have a challenge of their own waiting. Join them and try your luck at riding this fun and exciting addition to Horse Affairs. Check them out at: www.HaveBullWillTravel.com .
While the kids are enjoying the youth activities, the adults are invited to stroll through the exhibit hall, which features a wide range of commercial vendors offering the finest in fashion, art, home décor, and jewelry as well as tractors and innovative new property care products.
Throughout the weekend family members can enjoy fast action shooting demonstrations by the Treasure Valley Gun Slingers and, presented in authentic costumes, Steve Huffman's "Spirits of the Old West" presentations about the horsemanship skills of the cowgirls of the late 1800's. Clinician Steve Rother will be performing with his trick-trained horse and master storyteller, Ambra Allgood will enchant audiences with her tales about mystical horses.
Sunday's activities kick-off with Robert Aja's family-oriented Cowboy Church service at 10:20a.m. At 11:45, Elyse Villaseñor, the seven year-old daughter of clinician Ruben Villaseñor, will demonstrate her horsemanship skills as she conducts a class on how youth can work with their ponies. Then, at 1:00 p.m., the Horse Affairs Mountain Trail Horse Challenge will begin in the outside barn. During this competition, riders will maneuver their horses over, through and around various obstacles and it's sure to be an entertaining event for the whole family.
Horse Affairs takes great pride in the speakers they bring to the show. Our lineup is not easily surpassed in the NW. For a small entry fee you will be amazed with what awaits you. You will learn new abilities and be able to brush up on what you previously knew, but maybe forgotten. Our speakers come from all over the United States and bring to Boise a mountain of knowledge. Which we are sure they will only be able to scratch on. Don't miss out on some of the exciting world of training and performing.

Evening Sessions with Featured Trainers
Special evening appearance on Sunday evening at 7pm.
They will conduct a training session, answer questions and bring motivational
ideas to their audience. This will be a special ticketed event and will
be a separate event from the rest of the offered clinics. Limited seating. Get
your tickets early.

Bring your family to Cowboy Church! Join in the live non-denomination praise and worship service Sunday morning at 10:15 am in the Round Pen Arena bleachers. Worship service will be conducted by Pastor Robert Aja.
